Abstract

Diatrypaceous fungi on palms (Arecaceae) in Thailand were collected and identified based on morphological as well as combined sequence analyses. One new genus Allodiatrype, three new species, Allocryptovalsa elaeidis, Allodiatrype arengae, and Diatrypella elaeidis are introduced. A checklist of Diatrypaceae occurring on palms (Arecaceae) and Thai diatrypaceous fungi is also provided.
