Abstract
Tubulicium curvisporum sp. nov., belonging to the family Hydnodontaceae (Trechisporales) is frequently grow on a living tree of Pieris japonica in Japan, and is characterized by white resupinate, hispidurous basidiomata producing sickle-shaped, strong curved basidiospores measuring 16.5?25.5 ? 4.7?7 ?m. For identification of this species, morphological descriptions and illustrations, cultural characters and key to species of this genus are provided here.
