Abstract
A synopsis of Didonica, a genus of neotropical Ericaceae endemic to Panama and Costa Rica, is presented. Didonica crassiflora and D. Subsessilis are described as new, joining the previously described D. pendula and D. panamensis. Taxonomic history, general morphology, generic and specific relationships, and a cladistic analysis are provided. The two new species are illustrated, and a key to the four known species is given.
