Two species of Clitocella, including a new species, namely Clitocella orientalis, are described. Furthermore, Clitopilopsis hirneola is new to China.}

In this study, Clitopilus, Clitocella and Clitopilopsis from China were studied by morphological and phylogenetic methods.
