abstract = {A new genus, Yuchengia, is proposed by using a combination of morphological and molecular data, and Perenniporia narymica is designed as its generic type. The new genus is shown to represent a monophyletic lineage sister to a clade comprising the type and some other species of Perenniporia in the core polyporoid clade based on sequences of the rDNA ITS and LSU regions. Yuchengia shares some common characters with Perenniporia, both having thick-walled and cyanophilous basidiospores, but Yuchengia differs from Perenniporia by having amyloid and acyanophilous skeletal hyphae and non-dextrinoid basidiospores.}
