abstract = {Ochrolechia incarnata comb. nov. is reinstated from the synonymy of O. parella. It is a saxicolous species morphologically very similar to O. parella, but differs from the latter phylogenetically and chemically in the production of olivetoric acid causing C+ red reaction of the apothecial margin medulla. Ochrolechia incarnata is so far known from Europe (Ireland, Sweden) and Macaronesia (Canary Islands, Porto Santo). Notes on other saxicolous species with pruinose apothecia are provided and the taxonomy of O. pallescens is shortly discussed.}
