abstract = {Seven type specimens originally described as members of the genus Lepiota by S. Ito and S. Imai from Japan have been studied. Six type specimens of these species are preserved in Hokkaido University Museum (SAPA), and another specimen has been preserved in Tottori Mycological Institute (TMI). Two new combinations, namely Leucoagaricus subamanitiformis, comb. nov. and Leucocoprinus boninensis, comb. nov. are proposed. The new name, Limacella subglischra given by Ito is accepted here. I have confirmed that Lepiota atrovinosa, Lepiota inconspicua and Lepiota ossaeiformispora certainly belong to the genus Lepiota. }
