Abstract
Orientophila corticola Lee is described as a new lichenized fungus from South Korea. The new species is distinguishable from other Orientophila species by the substrate preference to tree barks. Molecular analyses employing ITS and mtSSU sequences clearly classify O. corticola as a distinct species into the genus Orientophila. A surrogate key is provided to assist in the identification of all 13 taxa in the genus Orientophila.
