Abstract

one new species and six new records of crustose lichens genus Graphis are reported from Thailand. Graphis koratensis Pitakpong, Kraichak, L?cking sp. nov. is characterized by lirelline ascocarps, whitish- grey or grey- green, pruina along the slit, transversely ascospores and norstictic acid. Our phylogenetic analysis strongly supported the distinct position of this new species with the genus. Six new records from Thailand included G. cincta (Pers.) Aptroot, G. jejuensis K. H. Moon, M. Nakan. & Kashiw., G. nigrocarpa Adaw. & Makhija, G. renschiana (M?ll. Arg.) Stizenb.,G. seminuda M?ll.Arg., and G. subserpentina Nyl. With these new records, we provide a key of all of the 57 currently known species from Thailand.
