abstract = {Three new poroid wood-inhabiting basidiomycetes: Perenniporia bannaensis and Perenniporia yuanjiangensis, collected in Yunnan Province, southern China; Perenniporia substraminea, collected in Zhejiang Province, southeastern China; are described and analyzed on the basis of morphological and molecular characters. Perenniporia bannaensis is characterized by annual growth habit and resupinate basidiocarps and a dimitic hyphal system with strongly dextrinoid, cyanophilous skeletal hyphae and its basidiospores are ellipsoid, thick-walled, strongly dextrinoid and cyanophilous, 5.2?6 ? 4?4.5 ?m; Perenniporia substraminea is characterized by perennial growth habit and resupinate basidiocarps with white to cream pore surface and a trimitic hyphal system, and dendrohyphidia present and having smaller pores (9?12 per mm) and its basidiospores are ellipsoid, truncate, strongly dextrinoid and cyanophilous, 3.1?3.8 ? 2.4?3 ?m; Perenniporia yuanjiangensis is characterized by perennial growth habit and resupinate basidiocarps with cream to buff-yellow pore surface and a trimitic hyphal system and its basidiospores are sub-globose to broadly ovoid, thick-walled, truncate, strongly dextrinoid and cyanophilous, 6?7 ? 5.1?6 ?m. Preliminary phylogenetic relationships are inferred based on sequence data from the ribosomal ITS and LSU regions, and the results of comparison with similar taxa of the genus Perenniporia, support three new species.}
