abstract = { The phylogeny and taxonomy of corticioid taxa in Auriculariaceae were studied. Two new genera, eight new species and four new combinations from east Asia are described or proposed based on morphology and phylogenetic analyses of ITS and nrLSU sequence data. Of them, Exidiella gen. nov. is erected for E. bambusicola (generic type) and E. taiwanensis spp. nov. The genus differs from Exidia by its resupinate basidiocarps and ellipsoid basidiospores, and formed a lineage distant from Exidia glandulosa (generic type) in the phylogenetic tree. Heterocorticium gen. nov. is established for H. bambusicola (generic type) and H. latisporum spp. nov. The genus is similar to Exidiopsis in microscope, but differs by having pigmented coriaceous basidiocarps and forming a distinct lineage in the phylogenetic tree. Eichleriella alpina, E. bambusicola, Heteroradulum maolanensis and H. tropicum are described and illustrated as new. Eichleriella delicata, E. roseola, E. sinensis and Heteroradulum mussooriensis were combined from Heterochaete. Heteroradulum semis is treated as a heterotypic synonym of H. mussooriensis. Authentic specimens of Eichleriella chinensis were examined and determined to be Stereum peculiar.}
